Compassionate Care Needs Your Help!
Just a reminder that we are accepting donations for our Easter Care Bags to our homebound members. If possible, please have them here by Sunday, March 26th or the latest by April 2nd so we can start filling the bags. You can drop them off outside the church office. We will deliver the gift bags with an Easter Lily (gifted by members) after Easter. Following are some suggestions: Individual Snack Bags (pretzels, chips, etc.) Adult Coloring Books and/or pack of 24 crayons | Puzzle Books Individual Hand Sanitizers | Lip Balm Thank you! Vacation Bible School
2020 VBS will be Virtual! The team at GO! Curriculum has designed a 3-day "backyard" VBS that is custom made for churches and families during the COVID19 shutdown. We have thought through every aspect of the VBS experience and made it so user friendly that any family can easily do it at home. With minimal preparation, easy to follow instructions, and a video that leads kids step-by-step through each day, BOLT VBS is the perfect quarantine-friendly solution for your church or family. After months of virtual learning, many kids are already experiencing screen-fatigue. With that in mind, BOLT has struck the perfect balance between video content and in-person games and activities. Please include a mailing address so we can mail you an information packet which will include the link to the parent portal. Ash Wednesday

Noisy Collection to buy Easter Dinners
Today’s and March 22 Noisy Collections will go toward buying Easter dinners for needy families in the Amherst area. In conjunction, we will again be collecting foods to complement our collection, so we can reach even more families! Foods needed are: Boxed scalloped potatoes, canned green beans, mushroom soup, french fried onions, applesauce, packaged desserts like cake mix and frosting, jello, etc. Volunteers are needed to help package the dinners on April 6 at 10
Marching Forward
The Transition Team is on a Quest and we have another great "food" event planned for you as we move forward to finalizing our data for the future Search Team. Plan to attend any one of the following QUEST GROUPS to eat (for free!) AND share your input with us right here at the church. And, of course, Pastor Arlen will be at all of the events. Calling All Youth!!
Calling all youth! Vermilion UCCC is inviting youth grades 6-12 and their chaperones to an overnighter to help Denison Avenue UCC help the homeless! The overnighter will be held at Vermilion UCCC (990 State St., Vermilion, OH) from 7 pm Sat. February 22 through Sunday morning worship Feb.23. Games, activities, and presentations will focus on the issue of housing insecurity. Registration is FREE, but youth are encouraged to collect donations to benefit Denison UCC - see the flyer for more details!
